I left my flash drive at school so this has no pictures, boring I know. The girls have both had a bday since my last post. Emma is now 4 and Libby is 6. Pedro and I both turn 30 this week, blah! Paydon is about to be 18 mos and is just the cutest thing ever, so calm w/ his older, crazy sisters. Libby graduated from Kindergarten the other day. I can't believe how old she is. School is out, and thank goodness it is b/c I need some major rest. I have a little one inside me taking all my energy. That's right, THE FOURTH AND FINAL FLORES IS ON IT'S WAY. I had my initial visit the other day and all is good. I'm 7 weeks along, due date is Jan 15th. We have a trip to the beach and San Antonio coming up w/ Nana and Papa, my parents. I'm looking forward to getting away. Not much else is going on, just swim lessons and summer track for the girls. I'll get some pics on here soon.

Libby rode in the rodeo last Thursday. She was the very first junior barrel racer. She may not have been the fastest, but she was the cutest and youngest. She did great. Little sister Emma says she will be ready for it next year. we'll see about that.

The Past 2 Weeks- the best of times, the worst of times

The best- Libby, my talented 5 1/2 year old, is proving her talents again by being asked to be a junior barrel racer in the San Angelo Rodeo next month. She is one about 25 girls, and I'm prett sure she is the youngest, just like her gymnastics team. She'll ride on opening night, Feb 17th. She tried out last Sunday. Last Saturday both Libby and Emma did the Rodeo princess contest, they just dress up cute and answer some questions, no pageant! Libby got it, but not Emma. Emma is just 3 1/2 so she's a little shy still. Here are pics of the weekend.

The worst- So I mentioned in one of my Christmas post that we had more good news to share later. Well that news was that I was pregnant, was being the main word there. I'm sharing my experience of having a miscarriage so I can help others who have gone or will go through the same pain I've experienced in the past 2 weeks. We definitely did not plan the pregnancy, I was going to be due in September which is volleyball season. It took us a few days to get over the shock and figure out how we were going to make it all work. Just as we do that and get all excited to have our dream of 4 kids and the blood test confirmed, the miscarriage begins. I did not realize it is such a process and toll on your body, and top it off the emotional roller coaster. I didn't even realize what was happening, but when I found out the symptoms I knew and I was crushed. Pedro didn't believe it until all the bloodwork over the week confirmed it. The hardest part was one week I saw the baby on the monitor w/ a heartbeat, and just one week later I saw a blank screen w/ absolutely nothing. We've realized through this process how thankful we are of our 3 beautiful children and we are perfectly happy w/ a family of 5. I have never wanted an odd number but I don't want to go through that again. The dr did tell me that a woman being pregnant 4 times w/out ever having a miscarriage is highly unlikely. The statistics scared me. So we've decided that we are done having babies. It's a pretty good time to be done, we're both turning 30 this summer, and our 10 year anniversary is this summer. Our life couldn't be more perfect as it is. We have great jobs, and we've been pretty successful in our jobs. The real success is that we are HAPPY! Our children are awesome, beautiful, and healthy! God has blessed us in so many ways.

My mom and dad came to San Angelo for Christmas and it was great. I always love to have my parents at my house, mom's cooking and dad reading to my kiddos. I just love it! Libby got the PS3 move (like the Wii) so we had some mad frisbee golf competitions every night. Emma took pictures w/ her new camera and Paydon pushed around all his toys all over the house. Pedro and I got new horses. Mine is Snickers and Pedro's is Charley. Now we can ride w/ Libby. I loved staying at home for Christmas! We spent New Year's w/ our good friend Amy and Aaron and their son Jared. Great Holiday! Now it's back to school. We're getting ready for Libby to tryout for the junior barrel racing in the San Angelo rodeo. I've got tennis starting, Pedro's busy working, and both girls are still in gymnastics. We are yet to see our baby boy walk, I shouldn't rush it though. Stay tune for more exciting news, and actual Christmas pictures.

Vball Over, Paydon Turns 1, and 2 New Family Members

Volleyball season was a success. District, Bi-Dist, Area Champs, 8th in the state, and I was Dist Coach of the Year and All West Texas Co-Coach of the Year. I couldn't have done any of it w/ out the support of Pedro and my awesome kiddos. Paydon is now 1, but yet to walk. Mom and Dad are coming Christmas Eve so we're saying he's waiting for them. Libby and Emma are busy w/ gymnastics. Libby is actually on the team at Concho Valley Gymnastics, the youngest on the team. She's also busy getting herself and her horse Shorty ready to tryout for junior barrel racing in the rodeo in February. We got two new horses, our new family members, Charley and Snickers. Now we can all ride as a family.

My team won 1st place yesterday at the Breckenridge Varsity Tournament. I'm so proud of them!

Here are a few pics of the last couple of weeks. Libby was participating as much as she could w/ my team at vball camp. The others are of us on the way down to Corpus (girls asleep in the car) to see Pedro's mom in the hospital and to his cousin's daughter's quincinera. The girls had a blast dancing and enjoyed watching daddy dance w/ his neice. Paydon had his first taste of spaghetti, a Wednesday night tradition since I was a kid. Libby and Emma went to cheer camp, here they are w/ their favorite cheerleader Morgan. The kids got their new Grape Creek shirts and wore them yesterday for my first scrimmage. Yep, vball season has started!

My parents came to town to help w/ the kids b/c I was really sick w/ a GI tract infection. My dad has written a book on a NCAA football playoff and he received it in the mail when he was in San Angelo. He's going to be a best selling author! We made 4th of July pancakes, a Sunday ritual, we just decorated them for the 4th! Pedro had to work on the 4th so the kids and I went w/ one of my friends and her son to see fireworks. The family went to the pool yesterday! Libby has been chosen from her kindergym class to be the youngest in the competition level class. She'll start competing in Sept. I'm not big on the "sport" of gymnastics b/c the whole judging thing, but I'm so proud of her success and she loves it. I just think of it as it helping her just be an awesome athlete. I mean all the former gymnasts I coach are our highest jumpers and strongest. That'll be Libby. Let's see if Emma will follow in her footsteps someday.

It's been forever, but we'e been busy. I went back to work Feb. 1st and now it's tennis season. I'm learning how to juggle 3 kids now and being a coach. Oh yes, I'm also a wife to a man that is on call 24/7. Poor Pedro has been put last on the list, sorry babe! I did say I'm learning how to do all of it. In the past two months Emma has turned 3, we had a rodeo b-day party. It's also been rodeo time here in Angelo, our favorite time of year. We went to the rodeo 3 times, including for Emma's b-day, and the carnival of course! Paydon is now 3 months and weighs 15 pounds! He has been sick w/ RSV, but has overcome it w/ the lovely breathing treatments. It has snowed a couple of times too! Libby and Emma have started gymastics again. This is actually Emma's first time and she is doing great considering she is the clumbsiest kid ever. We are planning Libby's 5th b-day, and it looks like we might be getting her a horse. She loves the junior barrel racers at the rodeo, so we are going to see what she's got. We have decided to stay in Angelo! We love it here!

Paydon is now 6 weeks and weigs 12 pounds. He has grown 2 and half inches too. I can't believe it. I have 2 more weeks off and then it's back to work. This semester should be a breeze just coaching tennis for 2 and half months. The girls are great. They are both about to start gymnastics again and they both have birthdays coming up. Pedro is great. He's been offered a promotion, which is great and it's a huge honor at his age to be given the chance to work in the corporate office, but it means moving to Houston. We are so happy here, all of us. We aren't sure what to do and a decision needs to be made soon. Please pray for us. Other than that, not much else is going on. I've been enjoying my time off, and I've started P90X. I'll let you know if it works miracles for me.

Paydon Guillermo Flores was born December 8th at 11:29am. He weighed 8 lbs 7 1/2 oz. and is 20 inches long. Smooth delivery and now we are enjoying him at home!

One day after church, and me at about 28 weeks. I was big then, so imagine me now.

Well we have been extremely busy w/ being pregnant and coaching vball. I will be 28 weeks this Thursday. The pregnancy is going great, but the stress of coaching this late in the pregnancy is a liitle much. I will never plan to be this pregnant during season again. We are so excited and getting ready for our little boy regardless of what's going on. Vball is going good. We are undefeated in district again this year. We hope to go deep in the playoffs. I might get a month of relaxation before baby boy comes. Libby and Emma are doing great. We're getting ready for Halloween, maybe some little cowgirls this year. Pedro is kicking butt at work and we are so proud of him. Hope all is well with you!

My parents came to Angelo for Labor Day. We ate at one our favorite places Ichiban on Friday. Saturday I had a game, which we won, then my awesome husband had planned a surprise for mom and I to go to the spa. I had a full body massage and mom had a facial. It was wonderful! Then we went to a Third Day concert. It was a great weekend! We won't see Nana and Papa again until the baby is born close to Christmas.

We gave in and found out we are having a BOY!!!

The past couple of weeks we've been trying to decorate more around the house. We let the girls help w/ their room, they painted their own cross to hang up. We had "Meet the Eagles" at the football field and Libby did her cheer performance from cheer camp. My team was introduced also. School started today and it went pretty good except I'm exhausted. Today was our anniversary. Pedro always surprises me the first day of school by delivering roses. This year he added goodies that I've been craving this pregnancy. It was so nice, he's the best!

Life has been stressful since July. I had coaching school, Champ Camp and coach's work week, and we took a little vacation to Gruene and Sea World. August 3rd I started vball two a days and have been non stop since. Here are some pics since July 4th.

Somehow my girls ended up w/ natural cheerleading ability. They love to stunt w/ Daddy. They say "Go Eagles!" when they go up. So cute, I guess.

We spent two nights celebrating the 4th. The first night we went down to the river to the famous pops concert. We had a picnic and watched fireworks. The next night, 4th of July, we went to a baseball field and saw and illusionist and a great fireworks show. We really enjoyed just having a good time with the four of us.

I had to go to Dallas for a week long convention for the class I'm teaching next year. The girls went to Nana and Papa's house for the week. The best part about being in Dallas was seeing my best buds from college Jaymie and Alison. Jaymie and I are both pregnant and not even a week apart.

A couple of weeks ago the girls and I were going to the pool pretty regularly. They love the water! Libby had her track meet, ran one race, and then it got rained out. We are proud of her second place finish though! I finally decided to upgrade our 8 yr old TV (bought it the first year we were married). I go Pedro a 52 inch flat screen for Father's Day. He loves it!

Both girls have been busy w/ swim lessons. I had to get in w/ Emma, unfortunately, b/c my body is in that gross inbetween stage. Not in maternity clothes and can't wear my clothes. I hate it! I did enjoy the time w/ Emma though. Here are some pictures of the past couple of weeks of summer!

Spring Break 2009

The first part of the week Libby and Emma went to the dentist and day care. I got some things done around the house and finished some planning for Libby's 4th b-day party this coming Sunday.

Then we went to Sea World. The girl's favorite part of Sea World are the Clydesdales horses, not sea animals. Oh well. We go to Sea World every year for Spring Break. We have season passes so we'll be going quite often.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we ran errands and did some things around the house. Like painting our front door red.

What's Been Going On With The Flores'

Over the past two months a lot has been going on.
1. EMMA TURNED 2 on February 26th!

2. Pedro came home from work in Louisiana, for good!
We've been waiting for the day that his company opens up a division here in
Angelo. Pedro is the man in charge, just like he deserves to be. He'll do a
great job!
3. I was really sick for about a week and no one knew what was wrong. This was
before Pedro got home and it was a rough time for the girls and myself. I was
not able to be an attentive mommy. Turns out I had a bad bacteria in my
stomach. All good now.
4. We became rodeo fans! We went to the rodeo, which is big deal here, and loved
it. We hope to buy a horse in the next year.
The stick horse will have to do for now. Both girls love them.

5. We went to Mathis to visit some family.

6. My parents, Nana and Papa, came to visit for a few days, not long enough though.

10. It's Spring Break! When Pedro gets home we'll take our annual Spring Break trip to San Antonio to Sea World and the Riverwalk.

Not even a month after being born both Gracelyn and Ellie have been released from the hospital. Gracelyn has been home for a week and Ellie goes home today. Check out Julia's blog, you can get to it from mine. There are a lot of new pictures of the girls.

Not much is going on in San Angelo. Back to work and busy coaching again, now it's tennis. Libby has the volleyball skills down, now we're teaching how to swing a racket. We're seem to stay busy with gymnastics, and right now Emma is sick. We'll see if she gets to go to day care tomorrow.

As I said in the last post, we stopped by the hospital and met Ellie and Gracelyn. Here are some pics. Gracelyn has the hat on and Ellie has the shades on. She has been under a light to help get rid of the jaundis. Chritmas Eve, we were in Atlanta, David and Julia got to take their first family photo. It's a good one, both girls have their eyes open.

We left San Angelo at 1:00pm Tuesday. We stopped by the hospital in Ft. Worth to meet Gracelyn and Ellie and see David and Julia. I'll post pictures later. It is now 1:40am and we just crossed over the Mississippi River. We fianlly made it out of Louisiana! We had to stop so much b/c the $32 tarp we had to buy at a truck stop, b/c it started raining, kept flying up. These pictures are of Pedro tying them back down for the fourth time in 10 miles. And guess what, it's not even raining anymore, but dangit, we're not losing a $32 tarp.

They were born December 19 at 5:54 and 5:55 pm. Daddy David sent this pictures from his phone so they are not that clear. I hope to get more when we go see them this week. I will post them soon. Gracelyn is the bigger of the two and not needing as much help. Ellie has been on and off the ventilator, but they both look really healthy. Mommy Julia will get to go home tomorrow, and the twins in about a month. We are driving to Atlanta tomorrow. We'll spend Christmas with my parents, Nana and Papa. We'll be back next week. This is a couple weeks old, but I had this basket of clean clothes in the living room, b/c I was supposed to fold them. This always takes a couple of days. Well I found little miss helper, sometimes, folding them by herself. What a pleasant surprise! Then I found Emma trying to join in on the fun, but she was driving Libby crazy. I have more pics from Thanksgiving, but I haven't downloaded them. I will get to that post eventually. News about the TWINS, Julia has been on bedrest for awhile now. She has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks too. We really want the twins to stay put until Christmas Eve. They will be 32 weeks then, and that is really good for twins. Since volleyball is over I have time to be a Mommy again. We have started Libby in Gymnastics and she loves it. It's a bittersweet time. I'm sad v-ball season is over, but I'm looking forward to having a season off to be with my family and get things done around the house. I have always coached b-ball and have dreaded v-ball being over b/c I had to go straight into basketball. Not the case this year, no b-ball for me, Yeah!

Just a few pics of Jax and Jensen. Libby loves having more "people" to be bossy to. I just wanted to post a few pictures of my other family, my team. I took them to Austin yesterday to watch UT play. We had a picnic at the park, walked along the river, went shopping at the outlet malls in Round Rock, and then went to the game. My two managers are 8th graders and they got to be in a halftime contest. Yes, that 6 foot girl is in 8th grade, future looks bright. We had some good, girlie bonding time. I needed to treat them b/c I've been so tough on them lately. We are 2-0 in district right now. We should go undefeated and win district. I'm ready for my first playoff game. Anyway, my first family is doing great also. The girls are doing great, and Pedro is hard at work as usual. We found out this week that Uncle David and Aunt Julia are going to have two girls. We just can't seem to produce boys. Papa will have to settle with teaching girls how to play b-ball and tennis.

Here's a picture of the girls on the Day Care float for Grape Creek's Homecoming. They were going to ride with me on the Athletics Float, but at the last minute Libby said she would rather sit with her friends. What a big girl! It's already starting where she is dissing mom for her buddies. Things are good here. My parents came for a short but sweet visit last weekend. We are enjoying the new house, but I don't get to spend enough time there. Volleyball is good. We start District play next weekend. I feel confident that we could go pretty far in the playoffs. My hoped are high. Pedro has found out that he has to go to Louisiana for work. We've realized that we can't really plan for anything when it comes to his job. It's a promotion, but we were getting used to seeing him a couple of times a week. We'll miss him. Hope all is well.

These are a few pictures of the house empty. Slowly but surely I'm getting things put up. This is not a goo time for me to be settling in a house. It's v-ball season, I've started my 5th year of teaching Spanish at a new school, I'm teaching PE for the first time, I've got two growing girls of my own, and a hard-working husband that needs to eat a good meal each night. Sometimes I wonder why I coach, but I would hate just being a teacher. Anyway, I'm so happy to be in our house. Mom and Dad are coming next week from Atlanta. I need Mom's help setting up house. Hope everyone's school year has gotten off to a good start since almost all of you are teachers. Have I mentioned that I'm going to be an aunt of twins! I can't wait!

Libby's first haircut ever!

It's been over a month since my last post. We finally bought my dream home. I will post pictures next week. We will move in this week, finally! It has been a long process since there have been so many foreclosures in the economy lately. Anyway, volleyball is well underway. I'm busy, busy, busy. The new team is great and I'm looking forward to probably my most successful season yet. It was so cool going to Abilene last weekend for the Bev Ball Classic (v-ball tourn). I got to coach in the gym I played in for four years. And then I coached against an old asst. coach, Leann Thomsen. She is at Wylie and they beat us, but we'll see them again Sept 16. Libby and Emma are doing great and are loving their day care. Libby is so excited about the new house and her new princess room. Emma has no clue what's going on. She's always happy. Pedro is busy working, but we see him a lot. We are really happy and so ready to move in our beautiful home. We will have a little over an acre. We hope to have some farm animals someday. If you knew me in Abilene you would never have thought that I would want goats, bunnies, chickens, or whatever. Kids change you, and for the better! Libby wants a horse of course, and we may have one someday. That's what is great about living in farm community. Other big news for us is that my brother David and his wife Julia are finally expecting, and not just one, but two! Yeah!! I'm so excited to be an aunt for my brother's kids. They are due in February. Well, here are a couple of pictures around the cabin we've been at. We are so thankful that we've had this place to live for longer than expected. It's been a long time since I posted. We have been so busy and so out of touch from a computer. We officially moved to San Angelo two weeks ago on the 28th of June. We found the house we want to buy, but the owners are not agreeing with one another, so we still have not signed any papers and are trying to be patient. Now we have all our stuff in a storage and we are staying in a little bed and breakfast cabin. It's a good thing this place is just down the road from my school, the house we want, and our storage. Our dogs have enjoyed making friends with all the other dogs in Grape Creek. By the way, Grape Creek is a small community 10 minutes out of San Angelo. My school is called Grape Creek High School. Anyway, in the past two weeks Pedro went back to work and the girls and I went to Atlanta to see my parents. The girls stayed there and I got back this past Tuesday. I came home early and did not go to coaching school b/c we didn't have an official place to live. I thought by the time I got back to Grape Creek the owners would have something decided, but they haven't and we're still at the cabin. Pedro and I were planning on painting and putting in new floors at this house since the girls stayed with Nana and Papa. Well, Pedro and I enjoyed the past four days by ourselves. We walked the dogs everyday, I kicked his butt in tennis, and we ate a lot! Now we are going on diets and working out!! Pedro went back to work yesterday, so I'm all by myself at this cabin. This is how I found time to blog. My parents will bring the girls back Thursday. I cannot wait to see them! These pictures are of Libby getting her nails and toes done. She got a rainbow mani pedi. My mom and I were across from her getting real pedicures. It was the first of many girl trips to get nails done. Emma was at home with Papa. The girls finally got to see their future town. I say town and not house b/c we're still not sure of where we'll live, but we found something we're working on. Pedro was able to meet us there and we had a nice Father's Day weekend. We stayed at this little cabin/future B&B. We went to Festival on the Concho, which is games, music, food, and more down on the river. The girls did a petting zoo and rode ponies. These pictures are from actual Father's Day, from the moment we woke Daddy up, to after church, then down on the river again to feed ducks and play on the playground. We are set to move in 10 days. I've got so much to do! I probably won't be posting for awhile, but I'll keep in touch.

These pictures are from a day at the beach, Emma's first. The following day we went to Sea World again, and then that night Pedro and I went to see Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen in Gruene. We stayed at the Gruene Mansion Inn and this picture is outside our room we stayed in. We then went to San Angelo to find a house and didn't. We are heading back tomorrow. The rest of the week the girls and I spent time in Canyon Lake with my parents and mom's family. I'll be in touch about the move, but as far as we know we will officially move the last week of June.

The first picture is of the girls before I attempted to take them with me to see "Made of Honor." It's a good thing the matinee show here is only $3 b/c we were only there 30 minutes. Now that Emma is walking she wants to explore and she was walking all over the theater. Of course Libby has to get in on the actiion and it became them playing chase. The next picture is of them on Mother's Day. Since I was by myself we spent the day visiting family in Mathis. This past weekend I went to a volleyball clinic and when I came back Saturday we had a girls night. Libby and Emma were in their matching jammies eating popcorn and drinking apple juice getting ready to watch "Racing Stripes." The last two pics are in George West at one of my coaching friend's house. She and I were pregnant at the same times with both kids. She had a boy the second time though. The kids swam and we ate hamburgers. Today is Memorial Day and we've been home all day. I've been packing up some last things. This week Pedro come home. We plan to go to the beach on his b-day, Saturday. Then we'll go to Sea World Sunday and meet up with Nana and Papa afterwards. Those are my parents by the way. Then Pedro and I will go stay the night in Gruene. I'm so excited. It's a trip to celebrate our b-days. We'll see Randy Rogers at Gruene Hall and then stay at Gruene Mansion Inn. Then we'll head to San Angelo to find a house. Then on my b-day I'll be heading back to Beeville without him b/c he'll have to go back to work. Nana and Papa will have the girls this whole time. I can't wait!

That's right everyone, we're moving! After four years in South Texas it's time to return to West Texas. I'm excited b/c when I turned three 24 years ago my parents moved to San Angelo and I lived there til I was nine. Now Libby is three and we're moving to San Angelo. About four weeks ago Pedro heard of an oppportunity to take a promotion in San Angelo. We had been talking about me moving out to West Texas since that's where he'll be working from now on. I saw a head volleyball opening at San Angelo Grape Creek. I pondered at the idea and we decided we'd just wait and move next year. Well, he heard about his opening up in San Angelo and we knew God was giving us the opportunity to have our family back together again. The volleyball job had not been filled, of course God was keeping it open for me. I went on an interview and was offered the job. Now we are packing up the house we were suppose to close on the day I went on the interview. God also held that up b/c paperwork wasn't ready. Anyway, we'll be outta here in June. It's sad to leave the house we brought both our girls home to and lived their first years. It will be a great transition. I'll be the head volleyball and assistant softball, yep never coached or played softball before. That should be interesting. But the best thing about the job is that I'll be out of the classroom and in the gym all day teaching PE! I'll be pulling out the pickleball and badminton equipment and get out my old books from ACU. We don't have a house, but we know God will take care of that too. For me and Pedro's birthdays we'll be taking a romantic getaway to look for a house. Hope all is well with everyone!

Pedro finally came home last weekend after four weeks away this time working. We really had a great time just staying home. The first couple of pictures are of the girls at a bowling birthday party of Libby's bestfriend from Day Care. Libby got to bowl and Emma wanted to so bad. That was Saturday. Then on Sunday after church we cooked out and the girls did the slip n' slide. I think Emma enjoyed it the most. Libby liked to drink the water. This is the only time I love to see a laundry basket, when the kids are playing in it. Libby loves to push Emma around in the laundry basket. It was so cute. Emma is now walking! She still falls down a lot, but I consider her a walker now. Daddy/Pedro comes home this week. We are looking forward to having him home and having a fun weekend. Right now we need lots of prayer about the decision to buy our house, stay in Beeville, OR move to San Angelo! I'll spare all the details for now, but we have one week to make a decision. Chuck E Cheese

Since we changed Libby's 3rd Birthday party from Chuck E Cheese to a swim party at the house she has been bugging me about going to Chuck E Cheese. I thought she had forgotten about it. I didn't get off that easy. So, last week I took both girls to the doctor for their check ups. The doctor said Emma is off the charts as far as her height goes. I thought she'd be off the charts with her weight, but they said she was perfectly proportionate. Libby did so well have blood taken and her flu shot, just a few tears, but no crying. So, I decided to do Chuck E Cheese by myself with both girls. Luckily it was not busy and turned out I could manage both girls on my own playing games. Here a few pictures of all the fun we had.

I thought these pictures were so cute so I had to post them. Emma is obsessed with her swing outside. Her big smile shows how much she loves to swing. The picture of Libby was this morning before Day Care. I thought her outfit was so cute. She is such a girlie girl. I wasn't into the big bows and cutsie dresses, but I can't deny her personality. I will say she is already an athlete. She can be a girlie athlete. She knows how to pass the volleyball. Papa bought her a tennis racket for her birthday so we'll start tennis lessons this summer. Eventually she and Emma will be doubles partners. What big plans us parents have for our kiddos.

The girls and I drove to Alvarado to visit Uncle David, Aunt Julia, and Nana over Spring Break. We had a Princess birthday party for the girls since the family couldn't be at their real parties in Beeville. I chopped off my hair also. When we came back from Alvarado Pedro got home from working. We went to the San Antonio Zoo Thursday and the Riverwalk Thursday night to eat. Friday we had our first venture to Sea World. It was great. We plan to go every time Daddy is home from working. Saturday was Libby's 3rd Brithday party at our house. It was a Strawberry Shortcake party. We had an Easter Egg hunt, and played our pool slide. Libby got a new bike for her birthday from her Daddy. Sunday was Easter and then Spring Break was over. Pedro is back at work and I'm back at school. Hope all is well with everyone.

Last week Libby went with me to a tennis tournament. I'm not coaching tennis this year, and I miss it, but I filled for the tennis coach. Libby enjoyed sitting in her chair next to mommy learning to play and coach. The next day I had to go to a track meet, which I don't coach either, filling in again. Libby and Emma didn't go, they stayed with their favorite Tia Estella.

This past weekend we celebrated Emma turning 1. We had a Sesame Street party Sunday at the house. Monday we went Corpus to go out to eat at TGIFridays. That's our traditional 1 year birthday dinner celebration place. We also went to walk the beach and play at Cole Park.

Libby will turn 3 in March and Emma will turn 1 in February. Their size is not much difference even though they are 2 years apart. Libby weighs 5 more pounds and is only 6 more inches than baby sister Emma. Pedro is off working for about a month and half, so I'm being a single mother, and let me tell you it is tough. I have more respect for single parents now. I'm coaching freshmen basketball right now. We have two and half more weeks and then I'll be off from coaching duties until volleyball next year. I will miss coaching tennis, but I need time for my girls at home.
